The tinted base gels are a semi-hard gel formula: strong enough to add durability, but still soak-off friendly. Cure in LED/UV for 30–60 seconds.

  • Why They’re Unique

    This formula is the perfect middle ground — not as soft as Mega Stick Base, not as hard as Platinum Bond Duo. It delivers both flexibility and strength, while still being soak-off. Pro tip: always build a small apex with the base coats for added strength — we highly recommend doing this with the Tinted Base collection.

How It Works

  • Prep and add first layer!

    On a cleanly prepped nail, apply a thin layer (aka a slip layer) all over the nail. Do not cure yet.

  • Apply Gel

    While that gel is still wet, take a small blob of more base gel, apply it just below the cuticle and float the blob down the center of the nail. Wait for it to self level to your liking.

  • Cure

    When you are satisfied with where your gel self leveled, cure (30s LED, 60s UV)! It helps to cure one nail at a time to ensure the gel doesn’t keep moving around!

I’ve used a couple different Japanese gels and so far I’ve loved this one the most and keep purchasing it! I’m mostly a DIYer/do occasional friends and family and this gel has been so easy to work with, self levels like a dream and lasts forever, rarely get any lifting. I usually get about 4-5 weeks of wear at least! I use my hands a ton for work and I like my nails medium/longish ish length so Im a huge fan of the hardness/durability this gives my nails! Not sure how it would do on super long nails, probably need a true hard gel for that but also works well when my nails are shorter. Love that it’s a base too so I don’t have to apply extra product, is easier on the nails and saves me time. Soaks off well, really easy with a drill. So happy it comes in a pot- no wasted product! Worth the hype for sure.
